Mothers Day

I had a wonderful Mothers Day yesterday! I was in a really good mood when I woke up because the sun was out! I got up and went for a little walk with my MoTab playing on my ipod. I came back to breakfast and cards and gifts. I must say Russ totally surprised me with my gift this year, I had no idea what he was getting me. I was pleasantly surprised with an air hose reel. Yes, it's true, I actually wanted one! So, I'm excited to get it hooked up and going.

We had a little BBQ on the new grill, so good!

I was spoiled at church with awesome brownies and really, really good cheesecake, I love our ward!

Jenna kept giving me everything she found with a "Happy Mothers Day" along with it! This purple flower is one of about 4 she picked until I told her to stop so we can enjoy them all summer! She was so sweet!

Jaida made me a cute card and magnet at school and I must say it was pretty cute! She was so happy for it to be a surprise for me she wouldn't let me go through her backpack on Friday when she brought it home.

I had to laugh when I was coming back from the bus stop today with Jaida. I crimped her hair again this morning and she got compliments at the bus stop this morning, so I asked if her friends liked it at school. She said, "yes, and Rachel said "Did you just wake up?", but I just told her my Mom crimped my hair this morning." I was laughing pretty hard about that one.

Jenna: "I got one for you right here!"
Mom: "Oh, sorry, I didn't see that."
Jenna: "Are you blonde?!" (She meant to say blind, cuz I always say that to her.)

Mom: "Don't tease your old Mom." :)
Jenna: "You're not OLD...you're NEW!"

Mom: "I'm making chicken soup"
Jenna: "I don't want chicken soup! I want ICE CREAM soup! Mmmm!"

Russ and I kissed.

Jenna: "I know what you just did! You got married!"

Dad is trying to pull into Krispy Kremes to get doughnuts.

Mom: No, No, NO.

Dad doesn't pull in.

Jenna whispers to Dad: "We can go drop Mom off and come back!"

"Daddy, I want a big Mustang, so it can hold all my dresses and make-up."
